Mobile medical device diagnoses diseases in an hour
Nanobiosym, a company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has developed a mobile medical device that is used to analyze genetic code, and detect disease pathogens in one hour. The device requires a prick of blood or small amount of saliva, which is collected on a nanochip, and placed into the mobile medical device. The device, GENE-Radar, was developed for rural communities in third world without access to electricity or running water.
