FDA sued for withholding information

The Government Accountability Project (GAP) is suing the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its decision to withhold data regarding the sale of antibiotics for use in food animals.  The FDA failed to properly respond to the GAP’s Freedom of Information Act request, asking for data concerning the amount of antibiotics sold for use in food animals in 2009.
